Combining motherhood and medicine

I’m a mother and a general practitioner. I never thought of choosing between the two, even though my employers often asked me to.

As my husband and I dress our daughter for daycare the morning, I feel proud to show them that her mom could follow her dreams.

Motherhood and medicine should mix......
